The current theory is that you need r5+ KOABD to qualify for the card

10 are unreadable (at least to me)...the ones I can read are: Gaile Gray, Emilie Diell, Bobby Stein, "CI" and "CJ"...the rest look like my signature!

Well, it is just my theory. Somehow related to the KoabD title.

No, i'm not an Arenanet fanboy, but it gives me a bit of a chill to know if they were hand signed, that Gaile/Patrick and everyone else actually held MY card o-O. THanks Arenanet, and have a good Wintersday!
Just 1 leaving question, if the cards were actually handsigned, how come I cant get the ink off?
|
Hey, nice comments -- makes the heart warm.
Oh and you can't remove the inke because last year the signatures smeared a bit (some even on the back of the card on top) so this year I bought those Sharpie pens that dry into a permanent ink and look all tidy.

You create 1000..1500 postcards signed by Anet members, and they are sent to randomly selected GW players.

Gaile it's late! Go get some sleep! :: hugs ::

ooh Gaile says the mystery deepens. She only says those kinds of things when we are on to something, it's something to be figured out.
Well, I have r5 koabd, I did participate in the beta testing for hero battles, but others who have gotten cards didn't have either of those things. Maybe we all got unfairly banned from this forum while offering constructive criticism which Anet took to heart and appreciated?
edit: yeah Gaile's is by far the most readable. Also it's really cool to hear that it's Sharpie, not reprints.
The thing that we definitely all do have in common is that Anet has our address. Just having Koabd, or any in-game title or accomplishment, doesn't obviously transmit our address. I believe when I signed up for the beta testing, I gave that info. What other ways did we give them our address? Did we give it when ordering from the online store?

i have one too, i got 25 maxed titles. I also am #1 rollerbeetle racer, so that might have also made me on the list. Mine says 187/1300. I think it was definitly the online store that they used to get our adresses, cause i was not here for the beta. But still they could not have sent them to everyon that used the online store
